LICC is an attractive, walkable 24-acre campus located in the Royal Community of the city of Gompa (Ganta), Nimba County, Republic of Liberia. Notable features include:

Academics & Instructional Buildings

The Academic Building has 9 classrooms, 5 faculty office spaces, a student government space, a clinic, the Women’s Center, and the cafeteria. Classrooms vary in size to hold from 24 to 30 students each.

The Nursing Building has a 2,809 sq. ft. Simulation Lab with model hospital room, birthing room, emergency treatment room, and storage for medical equipment and supplies. The building also has 4 classrooms, a Nursing Chair office, and a commons area.

The first floor of the Library/Administration Building has a library with about 8,000 books. There is also a librarian office and a student bookstore. The second floor has an air-conditioned computer lab with 32 shared laptops and a large screen monitor. There are also 5 multi person administrative offices and a conference room.
Agricultural Research Center (ARC)

The ground floor of Agricultural Research Center (ARC) has two classrooms, a fully equipped laboratory, agriculture offices, a kitchen, and multipurpose verandah. The lower floor includes the Agriculture Director’s home and a warehouse. The third floor includes guest rooms, a commons, and an Assistant Director’s apartment.

The Demonstration Farm houses a variety of fowl and cattle and it has several greenhouses. Large fields allow students to practice theFarming God’s Way low-cost, high-yield, sustainable farming approach. There is also a small zoo and an amphitheater.
Student Life, Residential, & Support Facilities
The spacious Chapel is used for worship services, convocations, graduations, and other large student activities.

The Student Intellectual Center (palava hut) is used for Debate Team practice, Choir practice, and other small student meetings.

The Palm Grove behind the Nursing Building has tile-covered concrete tables and benches where students can study or socialize.

The Cafeteria sells hot lunches, water, beverages, and snacks.

The Fountain, located in the center of campus, is a popular location for taking student photos.


LICC has two Dormitories: one for men and one for women. Each dormitory houses 16 students. There are four bedrooms, each with two bunk beds and a desk. A commons area is used for studying or dining, and each dormitory has two bathrooms. The dormitories share a covered outdoor kitchen for charcoal cooking.


The Well House pumps water from a 60-foot deepwater well and filters it so that everyone can enjoy clean, safe drinking water.
