LICC is planning to expand the Nursing Building, beginning in 2026.
Phase 1
Phase 1 of the project will include:
The first phase of this project focuses on covering the second floor of the existing academic building. This will be accomplished by:
- Constructing a complete roof structure over the second-floor classroom and laboratory areas,
- Supported by a concrete post-and-beam wall skeleton with minimal 36-inch half-wall construction in place and no interior finishing at this stage.
Final Phase
The second floor will be completed in several additional phases. After the final phase, the second floor wil have:
- 5 classrooms
- 2 offices
- Men’s and women’s restrooms
- Two stairways
- Over 2,800 square feet of space for future use.
